RECLAIM THE WITCH

“A witch is a wise woman aligned with the Earth, a healer.
It’s a word that demands destigmatization at this crucial time in the planet’s history
when we desperately need the medicine of the feminine to rise
and rebalance humanity and the Earth.”
Lisa Lister.

Have you ever had the experience of the whole world giving you the same message, over and over again? I keep being told, in different ways, to wake up to my power. Not power over, not power in spite of, just simply, power. My strength. My unwavering connection to myself and the earth.

I attended a beautiful Women's Temple with Karina Maria Tibble, where we empowered ourselves and each other to feel safe standing in our power, and I left feeling at peace in my not knowing, in my resting in the truth of groundlessness, deeply grounded in myself.

I attended a Shamanic Ritual about discovering what's holding us back from feeling our power, and I met myself, saw my strength, felt my unwavering fierce commitment to life.

I spent the last 2 weeks in Awaken The Dance focusing on reclaiming our witch, the connected, interdependent part of us who is unafraid to take her seat in her glory, in her power. We witnessed each other be danced by her and we let ourselves be witnessed. We co-created moving sculptures, laid on the earth, weaved amongst each other and let our hearts break open while our bodies were flooded with emotion, strength, magic, and, well, power.

Resting in our power, embodied, together is oh so different. It is such a clear mirror, an obvious reflection, that our power is supported by each other. When we get as big, wild and free as we want to be, instead of isolating or alienating us from the world at large, we can be here fully, available, and give so much more than we thought, without draining or overdoing it. We can be the cup that runneth over when we are firmly planted in our own power, connected to each other.

So feast my loves, on your own power. Lift up, elevate and mirror the power in those around you. When we all stand in the groundlessness of life, grounded in ourselves on this earth, the whole world wins.
